Project A.R.T (awareness.respect.truth) is a non- profit 501(c)3 membership based organization that works to decrease various froms of juvenile deliqency and victimization  in Metro Detroit by focusing students ages 6-17 attention on the "Hip Hop Arts" through technology.  Project A.R.T uses Hip Hop to shift youth's focus from violence, substance abuse, disrespect and self-destruction to economic empowerment, personal development, cultural appreciation and community activism.
"Safe Horizon’s mission is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities.

For over a quarter of a century Safe Horizon has been at the forefront of helping victims of crime and abuse through their crises.  They are woven into the fabric of New York City, and they are here where and when you need them – in the courts, in your community and at the other end of a telephone at any hour of the day or night.

They are recognized leaders responding to the changing needs of their clients, and  are sought out as experts on issues of violence and victimization for programs across the country and around the world.

One by one, their dedicated staff help over 350,000 victims each year find hope by offering a chance to tell their story in their own words, also a guide through the criminal justice system, and a safe place to sleep.

Turning Point's mission is to provide programs and resources that enable victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness to regain control of their lives.  Turning Point serves the community by educating about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault, and as a voice advocating for the people they serve. Turning Point is dedicated to the development and promotion of model programs that address the root causes of violence, and to the enhancement of the quality of life for present and future generations.
The YWCA of Metropolitan Detroit joins individuals of diverse socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and generational backgrounds who are dedicated to the YWCA’s Mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.  Their local Association is an integral part of a national and international YWCA organization that provides consistency on issues of importance to women and girls at local, national and global levels. Their joined voices are nonpartisan yet speak for our communities in support of our Mission.

Whether they are providing safe, quality, affordable childcare for working moms; counseling for survivors of domestic violence; or a special outdoor experience for children with disabilities, they are the YWCA of Metropolitan Detroit, and are 110 years strong.


Help Against Violent Encounters Now.  HAVEN is a nationally recognized nonprofit leader providing comprehensive solutions and innovative programs promoting violence-free homes and communities.  Their mission is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault across Oakland County and the surrounding communities through treatment and prevention services.
The NRA offers America's preeminent shooting, training, education, and public service programs, that foster the safe, responsible ownership, and use of firearrms.
The Better Business Bureau's (BBB) mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust. BBB accomplishes this mission by:

Creating a community of trustworthy businesses
Setting standards for marketplace trust
Encouraging and supporting best practices
Celebrating marketplace role models, and;
Denouncing substandard marketplace behavior
